I'm going to level with you for a second. There are a lot of viral skincare brands that make it to the desks of beauty editors and some of them don't quite live up to the hype. Sometimes, I'll try a brand with a cult following on TikTok with high hopes, but it then proves to be underwhelming. There is, however, one buzzy K-beauty brand out there that hasn't disappointed me once. You may know Biodance for its viral Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask, but honestly, I'm here to tell you that you shouldn't sleep on the rest of the brand's offerings. They're incredibly good, and I couldn't go another day without shouting about them.

My fellow beauty editor Kaitlyn McLintock and I have a mild (okay, more like serious) K-beauty obsession, and we both came to the conclusion that Biodance is one to beat. We put a good majority of the brand's skincare to the test for a month to see if they pleased our picky beauty-editor skin. For all our thoughts on the products, keep on scrolling.

Biodance Refreshing Sea Kelp Real Deep Mask, Overnight Hydrogel Mask, Calming, Oil & Sebum Control, Blemish Care 1.19oz(34g) X 4ea

Refreshing Sea Kelp Real Deep Mask

Out of all the brand's sheet masks, these new ones from the brand are my absolute favorite. They're great options for oily and acne-prone skin, and they don't contain too much hyaluronic acid. Personally, my skin feels even drier or more dehydrated if I use too much hyaluronic acid, but this one calms, hydrates, and tightens pores like no other. I like to block out a good chunk of time to wear these—like two to three hours to really soak up all the benefits.

Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask, Hydrating Overnight Hydrogel Mask, Pore Minimizing, Elasticity Improvement, 34g X4ea

Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask

These collagen-infused masks are the brand's most viral product. They contain low-molecular-weight collagen, pore-tightening and firming ingredients, and three different kinds of probiotics to help strengthen the skin's protective barrier. I really liked these masks. They really do tighten your pores and give you a "glass-skin" look. I didn't find this mask to be as hydrating as the Refreshing Sea Kelp Mask, though, so I think I prefer that one.

"I had high expectations for this mask, seeing as it basically broke the internet a few months ago with everyone and their mother clamoring to get their hands on one. I liked that it stuck to my skin overnight, despite tossing and turning. I also liked that it gave me a 'glass-skin' effect by morning. While I don't think I'll use it super consistently, I can see myself stocking up on it to use before big events." — McLintock

Biodance Hydro Cera-Nol Real Deep Mask

Hydro Cera-Nol Real Deep Mask

This glacial water, ceramide, and hyaluronic acid–rich mask is really soothing. While I did like this mask, I struggle with barrier damage, and for some reason, too much hyaluronic acid makes my skin feel more dehydrated, and this mask did that a bit. It will definitely work great for some, but if you have similar skin, it may leave you feeling a bit tight the next day.

Soothing Barrier Cleansing Foam

Soothing Barrier Cleansing Foam

This is such a great gentle everyday cleanser. I love that it soothes and protects your skin barrier while leaving it soft. It never gives you a tight, dry feeling after using either which is a huge bonus.

"Usually, foaming cleansers strip moisture from my skin, exacerbate redness, and generally just leave my skin looking like a hot mess. This one was different. With green tea extract, five types of mucin, and coconut-derived surfactants, it's surprisingly gentle on my sensitive skin. Each time I use it, my face feels soft, smooth, and most importantly, clean. So, yeah, I'm shocked I'm using a foaming face wash every night, but here we are." — McLintock

Biodance First Synergy Toner, All-In-One Toner, Moisturizing, Skin Balance, Hyaluronic Acid | 5.07 Fl.oz,150ml

BIODANCE

First Synergy Toner

I don't usually use a toner in my routine these days, but this hydrates and soothes so gloriously that I might just change that. It almost has a serum-like consistency that feels more like an essence and helps restore balance within the skin.

"This is your classic hydrating toner. It's made from 96% hydrating ingredients, so it's basically like a tall glass of water for the skin. Personally, I love using this directly after cleansing for added moisture, plumpness, and bounce. My thirsty, winter skin drinks it up." — McLintock

Biodance Skin Refining Mild PHA Toner

Skin Refining Mild PHA Toner

"Since I have sensitive skin, I tend to avoid exfoliating solutions unless I know they're gentle. Even though I felt like I was taking a big risk with this one, I forged ahead. And I'm glad I did. The mild PHA formulation isn't as harsh as other AHA and BHA formulas that I've tried. In fact, I used it three nights in a row without ANY redness, dryness, or irritation. Yet it somehow made my skin feel softer and smoother than it did before. Success." — McLintock

Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads | Pore Perfecting, Improving Elasticity, Korean Toner Pads for Sensitive Skin | 4.93 Fl.oz.(140g), 60pads

BIODANCE

Collagen Gel Toner Pads

This was my first time trying K-beauty toner pads, and they definitely bring a lot to the table. They're a great way to get the benefits of the mask in toner pad form. They're also easy to incorporate into your daily skincare routine. I love that they're really soothing on redness and irritation. Plus, I actually found them to work better for my skin than the mask. It leaves you with a plump, dewy complexion in record time.

"I have a not-so-secret obsession with Korean toner pads, so I was particularly excited to try these. They have a unique, gel-like texture that feels thick and bouncy on the skin (in a good way). I love that they treat my skin to active ingredients while adding even more moisture into the mix. These have become a staple in my skincare routine." — McLintock

Biodance Skin Glow Vital Ampoule

Skin Glow Vital Ampoule

I was most excited to try this product because I saw what an otherworldly glow it gave users on TikTok. It's been great for my particular skin because it contains three different probiotics to strengthen the skin's immune system. It also has beta-glucan, another favorite ingredient of mine that stimulates repair and is so soothing for acne and redness. This one didn't disappoint for me. It gives you the glowiest skin that both looks and feels healthier. I noticed my skin became less reactive too after using it for a few weeks.

"Don't expect this ampoule to feel like a traditional serum. It's thicker and more gel-like. I think that's why it makes my skin look so healthy. Well, that, and the fact that it contains hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, and a probiotic complex for a strong moisture barrier. If you want plump, bouncy, baby-butt skin, I can't recommend this product enough." — McLintock

Biodance Collagen Ampoule

Collagen Ampoule

If you struggle with enlarged pores, this is the ampoule for you. It really tightens up your pores like no other and gives your skin an extra-plump appearance. This one does contain a lot of hyaluronic acid in it, though (10 layers to be exact), so if your skin is similar to mine, it might make you feel a tad dehydrated.

Biodance Skin-Glow Essence Cream

Skin-Glow Essence Cream

All I have to say is wow. This cream really lives up to its name and gives you that "glass-skin" glow that Korean beauty is known to provide. It's great for anyone dealing with barrier damage as it's designed specifically to fortify and strengthen the barrier. However, there is a lot of hyaluronic acid in it, so it's possible you could feel more dehydrated a few hours after applying, especially if you live in a drier climate.

"Layer this over the Skin Glow Vital Ampoule, and you'll have the glowiest skin ever. I'm not kidding. When I used these products in tandem, my sister asked me what I'd been doing for my skin because it looked 'insane' (in a good way). The only downside is I felt like I had to reapply it every few hours because it didn't give me the most long-lasting moisture." — McLintock
