Who is Matthew Livelsberger's Wife? Sara Livelsberger's Anti-Trump Messages

2 days ago 4

The woman thought to be the wife of Cybertruck attack suspect Matthew Livelsberger has been linked to an anti-Donald Trump Facebook comment which said: "I follow his Twitter... Just to get my morning motivation to kill someone."

Newsweek has reached out to Livelsberger via Facebook outside of normal working hours for comment.

Why It Matters

Investigators are currently working to try and determine whether the Las Vegas attack could be politically motivated, or if it has links to the New Orleans atrocity in which a truck rammed a crowd and killed 15 people on the same day. That crash is currently being investigated as a terrorist attack, and police believe the driver did not act alone.

Newsweek has not been able to independently verify the veracity of these accounts.

The last post on Sara Livelsberger's account is from May 2016, prior to the 2016 Presidential Election, and Trump's first term in office.

In a May 2016 post, she shared a pro Democrat poster, which came with the slogan 'Stop Bigotry,' and had an outline of a cartoon head which looks similar to President-elect Trump. The post was captioned: "Look what this lady got in the mail as a SURPRISE! Perks of being a registered Democrat #excitedwoman I can't wait to slap this baby on my truck."

In March of 2016, she shared a clip of Trump speaking. Captioning this she wrote: "Gaslighting is bullsh*** and can be deadly no matter who is doing it. But this clip is nauseating."

In another March post, she wrote: "If you're voting for Trump or Cruz in November you can just stay home or forget it is an election year all together. If I want to be around that sh*t I will go to the closest racist day care and pick out a rich kid not old enough for kindergarten to run the country. Get your sh*t together everyone!"

Posts shared on Sara Livelsberger's account show her and Matt Livelsberger going out to rock music concerts, holidaying in Puerto Rico and spending time with dogs.

What People Are Saying

Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill said on Wednesday when asked about possible connections, "This is a Tesla truck, and we know that Elon Musk is working with President-elect Trump, and it's the Trump Tower."

"So there's obviously things to be concerned about and it's something we continue to look at."

What's Next

The Las Vegas police announced they are investigating the fire and explosion. At Wednesday's news conference, Schwartz confirmed that the FBI is also involved in the investigation who are investigating potential links to the New Orleans attack.
