Taylor Swift shared behind-the-scenes footage for several music videos, including "Bejeweled" and "Anti-Hero," in honor of her 35th birthday on Friday, December 13. Now, what fans thought was one Joe Alwyn easter egg in the clip has mysteriously turned into two.
Both Midnights music videos were originally released in 2022, alongside the album but with the new release of the "Making Of" clips, fans have spotted something even more interesting when viewing the behind-the-scenes video again.
In one moment from Swift's BTS video, during the making of "Bejeweled," she is talking to makeup artist Pat McGrath, but the lock screen on her phone is also open. The image was a photo of Swift cuddling up to her ex, actor Joe Alwyn, and fans on social media started sharing it rapidly. Since then, it seems that moment in the video has been edited.
In the current BTS video on YouTube, Swift's lockscreen (and the photo of her and Alwyn, 33), is now blurred out. The time on her phone is still visible, but the image of them together is not.

Swift and Alwyn dated from 2016 until April 2023, when they ultimately announced their breakup. Since then, Swift has been dating Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, 35, after appearing at his football game in September 2023.
"I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years," Alwyn shared with the Sunday Times in June 2024. "That is a hard thing to navigate. What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it's suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in."
