Chloe Burrows speaks about 'holiday horror'

Love Island alum Chloe Burrows, 29, opened up about a terrifying moment on a recent getaway.

The ITV star spoke about the incident on her podcast, Chloe Versus The World, and revealed that things got physical on holiday when she found herself embroiled in a love triangle against her will. Chloe explained: “There was a lady and her husband. I don’t know if that was a legit marriage, if you kind of get what I’m saying. Her husband was a lot older than her, basically.”

Chloe shared: “So we were in the pool having a nice time, and the husband comes over to me and my friend Nicole, and he’s like, ‘Oh, what are you birds doing here?’ We were like, ‘Oh, we’re just on holiday, what do you want,’ kind of thing.”

However, things soon turned physical as Chloe claimed: “Then his girlfriend comes over and she literally grabs me out the pool, and she’s like, ‘You stupid f**king sl**, that’s mine, that’s mine!’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, literally I want nothing to do with this man.’ And she was like, ‘How dare you? How dare you?’ I was like, ‘Yo, he came over we literally said what do you want, he’s been over there.’”

The Celebs Go Dating star pondered: “Maybe this was some sort of kink that they do. You know, bit of foreplay. So she did that and then she’s like run off, and he was like, ‘F**k her anyway, I pay for her,’ I was like ‘Oh my God.’ And then 20 minutes later she comes down, and she’s in this - like her night out outfit, big heels. And again, she comes over. We’re nowhere near this man now. But she does it to another girl, and she’s screaming in her heels. I was like to Nicole, ‘We shouldn’t be here. We should leave.’”

While Chloe was accused of getting too close to the mystery woman’s man, she previously admitted to faking a relationship as part of a wild experiment. Chloe’s Channel 4 documentary, Love In The Limelight: UNTOLD, saw her investigate how staged pap shots earned some couples money. She talked to some former Love Island couples, who revealed they stage some arguments to earn cash from paparazzi shots.

Chloe then decided to fake her own romance after hearing she could earn up to £250,000 per year. She set up several staged moments with Too Hot To Handle star Harry Johnson, with the duo being pictured enjoying food and drinks together in Waltham Forest.

"Now I've heard how it all works and the big money involved, I want to put it to the test, it's time to launch my own showmance," she said in the programme. "If I really was going to be serious, that is so easy to make money off. You can start to see the web of finances that can go behind a reality couple."

Putting her plan into action, Chloe and Harry met with celebrity agent Dave Read, who told them they could have a 'lucrative future'. After urging them to set up shots of the pair ring-shopping of house-hunting, he added: "There's no reason that between you in one year you couldn't bank a quarter of a million pounds."
