Melissa Gorga brushes off Teresa Giudice’s ‘expected’ shade after Sprinkle by MG cookies launch

Melissa Gorga isn’t letting Teresa Giudice spoil the sweet taste of her recent Sprinkle by MG cookie company launch.

During an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” the unbothered Bravo star brushed off a recent jab made by her sister-in-law and longstanding adversary on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

“Do we expect anything different?” Gorga, 45, said, referring to an X post from Giudice, 52, that read, “You’re welcome.”

The message was ominously posted shortly after the Envy boutique owner announced her foray into the baked goods business on Dec. 10.

“It’s, like, ‘When they go low, we go high,’” Gorga said, invoking former First Lady Michelle Obama, who said the same in a fiery speech directed at Donald Trump months before he won the 2016 election.

“That’s my reaction to that,” she added, reiterating that she felt Giudice’s response to the Sprinkle by MG news was predictable. “I mean, come on. It’s expected.”

Fans have been well aware of Gorga’s penchant for sprinkle cookies since 2011’s “RHONJ” Season 3 — when Giudice infamously recalled throwing away a box of the Italian treats that the “On Display” singer brought to her home on Christmas Eve.

The incident, which has remained relevant online thanks to countless memes and TikToks set to the sound of the iconic scene, is among a myriad of issues that have contributed to the ladies’ ongoing discord.

While the cookies created a bit of drama on the show, its lasting legacy has meant big business for Gorga — who began working on Sprinkle by MG about a year-and-a-half ago, a process that included a search for the “perfect” Italian bakery to partner with in Upstate New York.

She didn’t share specific numbers, but the entrepreneur enthused that, so far, sales have been “great” — and she hopes the success of Sprinkle by MG will inspire her 19-year-old daughter, Antonia, to one day contribute.

“I would love if Sprinkle by MG was something that went on for Antonia as well, and we can expand together. I said to her the other day — she kind of saw how well they were doing — she was like, ‘My God, mom, everyone’s going nuts over these sprinkle cookies,’” she recounted.

“I was like, ‘So put your little thinking cap on. What can you do to expand this and what little twist can you put on to what your mother has created?’”

Sprinkle by MG has been flooded with rave reviews from Gorga’s fellow “Real Housewives” — including Jenn Fessler, Gina Kirschenheiter and, most notably, “RHONY” OG-turned-mogul Bethenny Frankel.

Gorga sent Frankel, 54 — who is known to share her no-holds-barred opinions about food via social media — her cookies with certainty that she’d be met with positive feedback. Thankfully, she was right: the Skinnygirl founder praised the sweets for their flavor and texture, while also giving Gorga props for her sleek packaging.

“I know that I have the best butter sprinkle cookie she’s ever going to try. And I felt 100% confident. I sent them over the next day, like the second they were ready and the packaging was ready,” she told “Virtual Reali-Tea.”

“I was like, ‘Off you go!’ I was dying to see what she had to say.”

Gorga was, of course, thrilled to hear that Frankel enjoyed every bite.

“They’re never frozen. They’re [made with] real butter. They’re from a real Italian bakery … They’re just awesome. They’re great.”

The newly crowned cookie queen revealed that her recipe’s “little twist” is a “hint of almond,” which permeates her desserts due to almond paste being used as a main ingredient.

“You can tell they’re a little different,” Gorga said. “It’s the Melissa Sprinkle cookies.”
