Kelly Ripa has had it with a frustrating habit of her husband Mark Consuelos, and she insists that he follows the routine of another television personality — Ryan Seacrest.

In an episode of Live with Kelly and Mark that aired Wednesday, November 20, Ripa, 54, revealed that Consuelos, 53, has a bit of a snoring problem, which, according to Ripa, was a major issue the night before the broadcast.

"I wanted to ask you about that, because my reading said I snored for one hour and two minutes," Consuelos said, however, Ripa told Consuelos that this had to have been a "low estimate."

Apparently, the snoring was so bad that Consuelos put "tape on [his] mouth" but Ripa said he "broke through the tape."

Following the on-screen revelation, Ripa suggested that the Days of Our Lives actor "go full [Ryan] Seacrest and start eating at 4 p.m. Because you could be developing acid reflux."

Seacrest — who was Ripa's co-host from 2017 to 2023 on Live With Kelly and Ryan — has long been open about his intermittent fasting regimen, in which he doesn't eat his first meal until noon, and then eats his last meal at 4 p.m.

The Wheel of Fortune host spoke about his dietary habits in an interview with People back in January 2021.

"I start my day with tea first and then I have coffee, and then my first meal is lunch, which I find actually helps with my energy level," Seacrest said, noting that he will also "exercise later in the day, a little late afternoon." At the time, he also revealed that he "cut out sugar for the most part" and only eats meat on rare occasions.

"I'm like con-vegan, I call it conveniently vegan," he said. "So I do cheat and eat things every once a while, but I try and mostly stay plant-based and fish-based occasionally."

Perhaps Ripa should ask her former co-host how his diet and exercise habits affect his snoring.
