Ahead of their blockbuster Netflix fight, Mike Tyson warns Jake Paul to take it seriously because he’s bringing “the devil” to the ring.

On November 15, Netflix will attempt to draw the world to its streaming service for the first live-streamed sporting event. The event will feature Mike Tyson fighting YouTube-turned-boxer Jake Paul. While it sounds insane to some people this should be a promising event.

On the undercard, Katie Taylor will face Amanda Serrano for the undisputed lightweight title, and Mario Barrios will face Abel Ramos for the WBC welterweight title.

While the undercard is for the boxing purist, the main event is what Netflix has its money on. From the outside looking in both sides are taking it seriously and prepared for battle. Many have questioned Tyson’s age but he seems to be in the best shape of his life. Jake Paul has maintained his shape and skill with consistent fights over the last few years.

“I’m bringing the devil himself [to the ring],” Tyson said to a small group of reporters during Tuesday’s open workout, just days ahead of his highly anticipated encounter with Paul.

Tyson admits he has made a friendship with Jake but all bets are off once that bell rings and it’s time to compete.

“There are no feelings attached,” Tyson said. “My own mother should be very careful if she has to get in the ring with me. When it’s over, it’s over. But while the process is going on, my intention is to hurt him. I hope he has the same intentions, or he is in trouble.”

Jake Paul has often faced criticism for only fighting retired boxers like Nate Robinson and washed-up UFC fighters like Tyron Woodley. However, without skill, he wouldn’t last in the ring with some of his past opponents and come out victorious. We probably won’t be able to gauge where we should rank his fight with Mike Tyson but one thing everyone agrees on is it’s dangerous.
