Woman Needs Wall Art for Home, Dog Understands the Assignment

A dog has melted the hearts of viewers online after her modeling skills went viral on TikTok.

The female German shepherd, named Nala, was captured helping her owner decorate the guest bathroom, by posing for a series of candid images in a small towel. The lighthearted TikTok video, shared by Nala's owner under @kaylaconnellyy on January 13, has garnered more than 1.6 million views.

Viewers were able to see the 4-year-old dog walking up to the camera, wrapped in a small towel, before transitioning to the results of the photoshoot: three portraits of the canine posing in the same towel.

An overlaid text on the video read: "POV: [Point of view] The guest bath needs wall art, so you have a photoshoot with your doggo."

Captioning the post, the owner wrote, "I can't stop laughing at these. She was so patient, definitely earned lots of treats."

The dog's calm demeanor and adorable poses have captured the hearts of viewers on TikTok, many of whom flooded the comments section to praise her modeling skills. Several users have voiced that they are keen to see the fruits of Nala's labor in a follow-up video.

"Can we PLEASE see the precious baby's art once it's hung on the wall," one viewer said.

Another viewer added: "I'm doing this too. My husband and daughter think I'm crazy."

"The third one is so cute," a third said.

Another user added: "She sits still better than my toddlers do!"

"Omg I love this, I'm gonna do this with my parents puppy and see if they notice," another said.

Another social media user added: "I love these! We have two GSD'S [German shepherds] and I told my husband we have to do this!"

"Can we see the finished product," said one viewer.

Nala's owner, Kayla Connelly, told viewers in the comments section that she had to be patient to get the towel to stay put on her head in one of the shots.

"I folded it in my head first and veryyyy carefully balanced it up there…Took many, many, many tries," Connelly, who is based in the U.S, wrote.
