Young Thug is going home.
After entering a non-negotiated plea deal Thursday, the Atlanta rapper received a 40-year sentence from Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker. Thug was sentenced to five years in prison commuted to time served, 15 years on probation, as well as a "backloaded” 20-year sentence, which he would only serve if he violated his probation.
Shortly before the sentencing, Thug pleaded guilty to six of eight charges in his highly publicized RICO trial in which he and dozens of YSL associates were charged with racketeering and gang-related charges.
