Liam Payne’s family pay tribute after his death
Zayn Malik has confirmed that his tour will be postponed following the tragic death of his bandmate Liam Payne.
The One Direction star paid tribute to Liam following his tragic death aged 31 on Wednesday, October 16. Reports have since stated that Zayn is in "absolute bits" following the news.
On Saturday evening, Zayn confirmed that the US leg of his tour will be postponed following the news which emerged earlier this week.
In a statement, Zayn wrote: "Given the heartbreaking loss experienced this week, I've made the decision to postpone the US leg of the Stairway To The Sky Tour.
"The dates are being rescheduled for January and I'll post them as soon as it's all set in the next few days.

"Your tickets will remain valid for the new dates. Love you all and thank you for understanding."
Zayn was heading on his first solo tour since he left the band in 2015, but the news of his fellow bandmate's passing has prompted the decision to pause his shows.
The announcement comes days after Zayn issued a heartfelt statement to Liam as he wrote: "Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me. I can't help but think selfishly that there was so many more conversations for us to have in our lives."
