Zayn Malik has returned to the stage on his new tour after Liam Payne's death.
The Pillow Talk singer, 31, kicked off his Stairway to the Sky tour last week, after delaying the start of the concert dates due to Liam 's tragic passing. Zayn's first show was in Leeds on Saturday (November 23), which included a gut-wrenching tribute to his former bandmate.
He also performed in Manchester on the second night of the tour on Sunday (November 24). Concertgoers were left in tears when at the end of Zayn's show, where he projected a heartfelt message to Liam onto the back of the venue.

In his first post from the tour on Sunday, Zayn shared a number of snaps from the first gig of the season, thanking his fans for the huge turnout to see him. He uploaded the pics in the form of a reel, where he simply penned the words: "Thanks LEEDS for an amazing first night! See you tonight, MANCHESTER!"
Among the pics included in the reel was a shot of the emotional message Zayn paid to Liam, which was beamed behind him. The note said: "Liam Payne 1993-2024, love you bro," with a red love heart.
Zayn went on to gush over his fans as they sang some of the star's biggest hits - both as a solo act and also during his stint in One Direction. He said it was "good to be back up North", as he addressed fans in the O2 Academy in Leeds before launching into 18 of his biggest songs.
Fans were incredibly proud of Zayn for picking himself up and carrying on despite the devastating loss of his former pal Liam. One user headed to the comments section to pen: "So so sooooo proud of you Zayn, words cannot express the amount of happiness I felt seeing you on stage.
"So happy for your achievements! Can’t wait to have the possibility to see you live!" they added. "Stay rocking our world. love you."
A second user also gave Zayn some words of encouragement, penning: "Stay strong you can do this bro; No. 1 is on the way." Whilst a third added: "Thank you Zayn, you were amazing in both shows - a total dream come true."
The surviving members of One Direction are continuing to reel from Liam's shock passing on October 16 after he fell from the balcony of his third floor room in the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires. His body was laid to rest last week and saw the first proper reunion of the boys since Zayn left the band in 2015.
In a touching tribute to Liam upon learning of his death, Zayn wrote his own Instagram profile, wishing they would have been able to have more conversations - despite their rocky relationship. "Even though you were younger than me you were always more sensible than me, you were headstrong, opinionated, and gave no f**ks about telling people when they were wrong; even though we butted heads because of this a few times, I always secretly respected you for it," he wrote.
