Zoe Ball's daughter rushed to hospital after accident at dad Fatboy Slim's home

Zoe Ball announced on her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show that her daughter, Nelly, was taken to hospital after an unfortunate accident at her dad Fatboy Slim's home in Brighton.

Zoe told her listeners on Wednesday morning that the 14-year-old had been looking forward to breaking up from school for the Christmas holidays before she suffered her injury to her foot.

Following the painful accident on Tuesday (December 11), Nelly was rushed to A&E for an X-ray.

Zoe, 54, said: "Sending love to my Nell today. It was supposed to be her last day of school today.

"But sadly, her dad (Fatboy Slim) unintentionally dropped a Christmas Tree on her foot and she had to go to A&E yesterday.

"She had an X-ray but it's okay, it's just swollen. She's going to be alright, but she was supposed to go ice skating with her friends from school today but she won't be able to get her foot in a boot.

"The things you don't think are going to happen!"

Zoe and Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, were married for 18 years after meeting in Ibiza in 1997. They tied the knot in 1999 but announced their divorce in 2016.

The former couple also has a 23-year-old son named Woody, who is also a DJ, in addition to Nelly, 14.
