90 Day Fiancé stars Robert Springs and Anny Francisco welcomed their third child together, nearly three years after the death of their son Adriel.
“He’s here. Nine pounds, seven ounces,” Robert, 44, shared via his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, November 6. “What a great day, happy birthday son.”
Robert first hinted that he and Anny, 35, were expecting baby No. 3 in June after he shared a photo of them on the beach. The 90 Day Fiancé alums were both wearing pink as Robert leaned down to sweetly kiss her stomach.
Though Robert did not add any caption to the image, he seemed to confirm that the pregnancy was current by thanking fan page 90 Day Fiancé Updates for their congratulations in a separate post.
Two months later, the couple officially shared the news that their third baby was due in November. “Super excited and emotion [sic],” Anny wrote alongside the announcement, which was translated from Spanish. “I didn’t think I would have another child again but thanks to God and life here I come … thankful great mind … It’s a boy.”
Robert and Anny welcomed their first child, a daughter named Brenda Aaliyah in July 2020. More than a year later, the pair welcomed baby No. 2, a son named Adriel. Tragically, their joy turned to heartbreak when they announced that Adriel passed away at only 7 months old.
“Today is one of the worst days of my life, my son Adriel Springs died,” the Dominican Republic native wrote in Spanish via Instagram in April 2022. “I am devastated and [so is] my family … life is so hard and difficult. I never thought I would lose my son. He was a fighter … his heart couldn’t take it … my heart is broken it’s a big pain … so difficult.”
Days later, Anny revealed the cause of death for her infant son after sharing a photo of him in a hospital bed, hooked up to a breathing tube.
“This was the last pic an hour before my son’s surgery,” Anny wrote via Instagram. “Life is unfair, I just wanted my kids.” Although it’s unclear what specific surgery Adriel had, Anny hinted her baby had a heart condition while announcing his death two days prior.
Anny shared a heartfelt tribute dedicated to her son in April, marking one year since his death. “A day like today, they gave the worst news that changed my life forever,” she wrote. “Losing my son has been too painful, hard to understand because I had to live it and very few people understand me. A child is like half of our heart, and I do not wish my worst enemy to go through this because all material things in this life can be recovered but the loss of a family member … never.”
Robert and Anny were first introduced on season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé in 2019. They met online and were engaged after spending one day together in person when they came face-to-face in the Dominican Republic for the first time. Although they had their obstacles before making it down the aisle, they went on to become a fan-favorite couple and appear on the spinoffs 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk and 90 Day Fiancé: What Now?
