“She said ‘I’ve been thinking about you all day and just wanted to wish you luck for tonight. Don’t forget to soak it all in,’” Dua detailed to Billboard during her recent interview. She also revealed that she had always been a fan of Adele and appreciated her sweet words.

“I loved meeting her so much. I’ve always been such a big fan of hers, and getting to chat with her a little bit was just really sweet," Dua said. “It was so beautiful. I had so many messages from previous headliners,” she told the publication. “You sort of earn this badge of honor in that moment, and it felt like I joined the coolest club in the world.”

“She’s worked her arse off, and it’s so beautiful to see her get the recognition she deserves. She’s really stuck to her guns and allowed herself to be creative in her own way, and it’s paid off. That’s the best thing that can ever happen to an artist. She’s so deserving of every moment," she added.
