Angelina Jolie, consumed by her hatred of Brad Pitt, has her household staff terrified: 'You don't want to be around when he's angry'

Angelina Jolie still remains very sensitive to the topic of Brad Pitt and leaves her children and staff feeling the pressure of being around her, despite a recent legal victory over her former husband.

Dubbed Brangelina, the pair were married from 2014 to 2019 and raised six children together but allegations of domestic abuse culminated in a very messy split and eventual divorce.

And the years have not calmed the tension from Jolie, who remains on edge whenever it comes to talking about her ex following the disturbance on a private flight which even saw the FBI launch an investigation into Pitt.

So even though the 49-year-old Maleficent star just beat the 60-year-old Troy actor regarding the sale of a vineyard in France, she is still emotionally sensitive on the subject of the man and this is spilling over into her relationship with her staff too.

"She's always been a fiery, formidable character, and all this stuff with Brad has tested her patience," an insider told RadarOnline.com. "The household staff is walking around on eggshells. She's not afraid to chew people out and tell them they're messing up.

"You don't want to be around her on one of her late nights when she's blown a fuse. Everyone has to sign strict NDAs and be a vault when it comes to keeping family secrets."

Jolie tension impacting parenting

Although Pitt was cleared by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services relating to the incident aboard the flight in 2016, the family continues to ostracize him and Jolie continues to maintain the physical abuse.

And whilst she cannot quite fully put him behind yet due to ongoing legal disputes from their entangled lives, she is also tasked with raising Maddox (23), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), Knox (16) and Vivienne (16).

And it seems that trying to juggle both of these things, along with her own personal and career interests, has left her becoming very strict to the point where the children are grateful to get a break from her.

"When it comes to her kids, she's being as nice as she can," the source added. "They're the apple of her eye, but she's tougher on them than people might think.

"She wants them to do chores and make sure they don't slack on physical activity and work applications - and be cautious about who they hang around with.

"She's very strict, but it's coming from a place of love. [But] the kids are happy to get a break when she's in one of her moods."
