The 11-year-old, who Kim shares with her estranged husband, Kanye West, forked out a fortune for the jewelry piece as experts claim that the engraved gold necklace could range from $15,000 to $20,000. During an Instagram Live video on Monday, Kim showed off her quirky new piece of jewellery to her fans. North joined Kim in the video as the pair hinted at the meaning behind the engraved words, 'Skibidi Toilet'.

As it turns out, North revealed that her famous mum loved and enjoyed Skibidi Toilet - a weird and wacky viral web series created by Alexey Gerasimov. The internet creator uploaded an 11-second video onto his YouTube Channel DaFuq! Boom! last year and it sparked an instant phenomenon.

The initial video featured a head emerging from a toilet while singing. It quickly became a cultural phenomenon, evolving into more than 70 videos ranging from one to five minutes. The premise of the series follows a fictional war between human-headed toilets and humanoid characters with electronic devices for heads.

Surprisingly, fashionista Kim is a huge fan of the wacky show, and North's birthday gift is a sweet gesture towards the time the both of them have spent watching the series together.

Kim was also spoiled by her other children too as Saint, Chicago, and Psalm all helped to decorate their living room in pink balloons to celebrate their mum's 44th birthday on October 21. Each balloon at the celebration was adorned with Polaroid pictures of Kim and her kids, adding a personal touch, including snapshots of Kim herself.

North's sweet yet expensive birthday present for Kim comes after the outspoken 11-year-old called out her mum for not cooking her a homemade meal in the last two years.
