‘Best cleanser ever’ now under £4 as shoppers say it ‘dissolves waterproof make-up in seconds’

These two new Nivea micellar waters are now half price for a limited time only, with shoppers calling them the best they've ever tried at removing stubborn make-up

Micellar waters are a quick and easy (and usually fairly affordable) way of removing make-up and cleansing your face, and if you're looking for a new one, here's one that has accumulated hundreds of five star reviews and provides added skincare benefits – and it currently costs less than £4.

Nivea Skin Glow Serum-Infused Micellar Water is one of two new cleansing waters from the popular skincare brand, and not only effectively removes make-up but also leaves your skin looking brighter and feeling more hydrated, thanks to its formula enriched with 5% serum and ingredients such as vitamin C and vitamin E.

Even better, it's currently in a half price sale at Boots, taking the price down from and already pretty reasonable £7.99 to a complete bargain £3.99.

There are lots of micellar waters on the market nowadays, but one shopper called this Nivea one the 'best micellar water I ever tried'. In their review on the Boots website they write: "It works wonders at removing make-up/sunscreen. I wore a full smokey with waterproof shadows and mascara, and it removed it completely without me having to rub my eyes too much. I just put a generous amount on 2 cotton pads, let it dissolve my makeup for a few seconds, and then it comes right off."

Another agreed, commenting, "The best I’ve used in a while. Amazing stuff! My go to. Will always use this now and definitely purchasing again. Love the glow it gives too! And makes me feel so clean."

Our beauty editor Laura Mulley has also tried this £4 must-have and really rates too, saying, "As its name suggests, it really does leave skin with an instant glow, without any irritation (something I was a little concerned about when using vitamin C near the eyes). I'd reach for this one in the morning to refresh my skin."
