Bradley Cooper & Ex Irina Shayk Are Sharing Custody of More Than Just Their Daughter After Their Split

From 2015 to 2019, Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk made one of Hollywood’s most beautiful yet low-key couples. So while details of their long-term relationship are still under wraps to this day, there’s one thing fans could tell for certain: they co-parent their 7-year-old daughter Lea de Seine. But, as it turns out, there’s another family member they co-parent too: their dog, Peanut!

According to new reports from Daily Mail, Cooper and Shayk share custody of Peanut ever since their split, with Cooper recently being pictured handing over their canine best friend outside his West Village townhouse.

“We always find a way,” Shayk said of her and Cooper’s co-parenting in an interview with Elle last year. “He’s the best father Lea and I could dream of. It always works, but it always works because we make it work.” Looks like that’s the case for both Lea and little Peanut!

Per Shayk, co-parenting is a little easier too given how easy Lea is to bring around just about anywhere. “We both take Lea everywhere with us,” Shayk said of their daughter. “She’s super easy. Two days ago, I had to go to the gym, so I just got her a drawing book and said, ‘Mama’s working out.’ She was drawing for an hour. Then we went to the Michael Kors fitting. She met all the girls. Michael gave her a bag. She drew him a kitty cat.” How adorable is that?

Most recently, Shayk walked the Victoria’s Secret runway on Oct. 15 alongside Cooper’s current girlfriend, Gigi Hadid (they have been dating since October 2023). Sadly, however, Cooper was not in the audience.

But, despite his absence, Hadid even gushed about her Oscar-nominated boyfriend backstage. “He’s watching from home tonight,” Hadid told Entertainment Tonight when asked if Cooper would be in the audience. “He is on dad duty but so supportive,” the model added.

Knowing how mature Shayk and Cooper are with co-parenting their daughter and their dog, we’re guessing (and hoping!) that there’s no bad blood between Shayk and Hadid either. It’s all about adjusting to a new normal, right?
