Bravo announced on Tuesday that Vanderpump Rules will return for season 12 with an all-new cast.
The season's cast will consist of a new group of "close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors," the network said in a news release.
It went on to say, "under Lisa Vanderpump's watchful eye, the West Hollywood mainstay SUR and now TomTom — welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts and bartenders rife with plenty of drama, situationships and frenemies."
Vanderpump Rules has been on the air for more than a decade, but the show exploded in popularity again during season 10, when it surfaced that cast member Tom Sandoval cheated on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, with Madix's close friend Rachel Leviss.
In the aftermath of "Scandoval," Madix received a flood of brand deals, endorsements, and work opportunities, including landing the role of Roxie Hart in Broadway's Chicago.
In addition to Madix and Sandoval, the show's previous cast included Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, James Kennedy, Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
Doute, Taylor and Cartwright all star in the Vanderpump Rules spin-off, The Valley. Schroeder will join her former boss on Vanderpump Villa.
"The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between," Vanderpump said in a statement on Tuesday. "I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules."
It's not yet clear who will be in the cast of season 12; production is scheduled to kick off in 2025, and a premiere date for the next season will be announced at a later date.
This is a developing story and will be updated when more information is available.
