Leo Woodall is riding high right now, and with his latest role in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, things are only getting bigger.

The actor, 27, is among the cast of the newly-released show One Day, which has been met with much praise following its launch on Netflix just a couple of days ago.

Leo plays Dexter Mayhew in the limited series, which is based on David Nicholls' novel of the same name. He stars alongside Ambika Mod, who plays Emma Morley, with the show following their two characters over 20 years.

The show - which comes following the book's previous film adaptation One Day (2011), which starred Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess - has topped the charts on the streaming platform since its release and has led to positive reviews.

But with fame comes a few awkward encounters - like the time a fan’s husband got a little too jealous.

In a special digital cover for ELLE UK, the 27-year-old rising star opened up about adjusting to life in the public eye. “I don’t really get the tube anymore,” Woodall admitted. “[A woman] told me her husband gets really jealous. It was just so uncomfortable.”

Despite the downsides of fame, Woodall is embracing his moment, particularly when it comes to working alongside the Renée Zellweger. “She’s just incredible. Such a pro, but also so warm and generous,” he gushed.

Leo is best known for his role as Jack in the second season of HBO's the White Lotus, which aired in 2022. Jack was introduced as the "nephew" of Quentin (played by Tom Hollander) and grew close to Portia (Haley Lu Richardson).

Leo is believed to be in a relationship with his former co-star Meghann Fahy, 33, who played Daphne on the second season of the White Lotus. They were seen sharing a kiss in November last year, in photos published by E! News. And he opened up exclusively in Elle's issue, saying: "We’re very good at keeping it as private as we can. To me, that’s the only way. You see public relationships all the time slapped all over social media and I can’t imagine that’s any fun. It should be a safe space and so I think letting people into it is completely counterproductive."

That same month, the apparent relationship was referenced in an interview that Leo did with Vogue. The actor was asked if he's "a good boyfriend" by the outlet at one point, with him then responding: "You'll have to ask Meghann."

Meghann had previously teased over rumours about their relationship whilst on Watch What Happens Live months earlier. She said: "I don't kiss and tell. Come on, guys." Andy Cohen said: "It would be delicious. We would all love it.”

She replied: "You would? For you, I'll say sure." The audience and her co-star Theo James cheered but she added: "I was kidding. Just because he wanted me to say it so I said it." She went on to describe herself and Leo as "friends".

Leo and Meghann have been spotted together since then, including amid his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last year. Meghann appeared to have been supporting her former co-star Leo at the talk show's studio in California.
