Brittany Cartwright Says She Caught Jax Taylor With Other Women Twice in Her House

The Valley star Brittany Cartwright filed for divorce from her husband, Jax Taylor, in August 2024.

Despite Jax checking himself into a mental health facility to work on his anger issues, Brittany had had enough of the emotional abuse. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, Jax also realized he was a narcissist while in rehab. No sh*t, Sherlock. Most of us came to that conclusion long ago when he was on Vanderpump Rules.

In an interview with Bravo Executive Producer Alex Baskin, Brittany admitted that she was relieved when she finally filed for divorce. Even though she thought she’d be “crying my eyes out, it just kind of made me realize, like, ‘Yeah, this is done.'”

Brittany explained that she and Jax agreed to never have anyone they were dating around their three-year-old son, Cruz. They also agreed they would never bring another partner into their house.

“I don’t know if he had anyone around Cruz,” Brittany said, “but he definitely had people at my house, ’cause I caught him both times … I caught him twice.”

Brittany’s not totally innocent in the dating area, either. She reportedly dated one of Jax’s friends, Julian Sensley.

“[He] was somebody that I knew,” she explained. “In our world – it’s so crazy – cause how do you trust people? I was single for the first time in LA … My whole LA story has been with Jax and on camera, pretty much. So, I’ve never lived in LA without Jax.”

When she started hanging out with Jax’s formerly anonymous friend, “I always thought he was hot,” she added. “Also, I was just so mad at Jax, [and] I didn’t care if I hurt his feelings about that. Why should I care? He never cared how he hurt my feelings for years.”

“[Jax] put me down,” the Kentucky native continued. “He did so much to me, so it’s like, ‘I’m sorry you’re so upset about who it is, but at the same time, you didn’t give me attention, affection, or anything for years … I was like, ‘You know what? This guy’s really hot.'”

“Jax has no leg to stand on,” Brittany went on. “He hooked up with my friend. Let’s all remember that … He has history.”
