Kerry has admitted to struggling post break-up

Kerry Katona has candidly shared her life post-split from fiance Ryan Mahoney earlier this month. In an exclusive chat with OK! for her weekly column, the mum-of-five confessed she's been indulging in a 'break-up glow up' to lift her spirits after admitting last week that she was ‘struggling’. "I've had a bit of a break-up glow up to cheer myself up," she revealed. "I had my hair done by The Style Lounge in Cheshire and I absolutely love it. They say when you go through a break-up you should get a new hairstyle, so that's what I've done. I've also lost a lot of weight recently, so I'm feeling confident and like I want to dress up for a change. I definitely think I need a girls' night out soon to really let my hair down."

Kerry, who is currently rehearsing for Pantomime with best mate Katie Price, also admitted she is "nervous" about managing life without Ryan. She says: "I'm a bit nervous about how I'm going to juggle caring for the kids and being so full on with the panto, now that I don't have Ryan at home. It is going to be a lot more difficult on my own. I'm not feeling festive at all, but I'm trying to stay positive for the kids." Kerry, 44, and her younger beau, 36 year old fitness guru Ryan, saw their engagement coming off the rails recently despite getting engaged in 2021. Their love story began on Bumble back in 2018, but their journey to the altar hit a stumbling block when they ditched their Las Vegas wedding plans last minute.

Plus, Kerry has been upfront about their recent rows, "like cat and dog", with tensions rising over her OnlyFans gig. In her tell-all column for OK!, she shared with fans that her engagement had ended due to a "breach of trust." Discussing the painful split, she likened the emotional turmoil to 'grieving a death.'

Business ties make their split even more complicated for Kerry - she's co-director with Ryan at Kerry Katona Ltd. She confided: "He got the last of his stuff this week so I've just been trying to process it all, I really didn't think we'd ever split up. Like any break-up, I think I just need time. We're business partners so that side of it is difficult to navigate too, we're currently sorting out the work side of things through a mediator.”

The bombshell news of Ryan and Kerry's breakup dropped after the former I'm A Celeb champ caused a stir among her followers by declaring herself 'single' on Instagram earlier this month.

Initially, it sparked speculation she'd parted ways with her fiance of six years. However, in an unexpected twist, she later revealed the claim was a prank meant to lift her mum's spirits.

Kerry hinted at being newly single during a quirky interaction with fans while attending to her ailing mother Sue in the hospital, who was previously taken to A&E due to blood clots in her lungs. Amidst the hospital visit, when questioned by a fan about whether her mum's doctor was on the market, Kerry quipped back with a cheeky: "No, but I am!”

Nonetheless, she clarified on Instagram that her offhand remark was merely a "joke between me, my mum and best friend" concerning one of the doctors.
