Davina McCall breaks down in tears in heartbreaking first video since brain tumour surgery

Davina McCall has broken her silence for the first time since undergoing brain surgery. The TV legend took to Instagram as she shared a heartfelt message with fans from her bed, before breaking down in tears.

Speaking into the camera the 57-year-old presenter said: "Hi, I just thought I'd check in and say an enormous heartfelt thank you to everybody who has messaged me or been in touch." She choked up slightly, and held her chest as she emotionally continued: "It's... God... It's meant the world."

Explaining a bit about the journey that she's been on, and sharing that she is now back home, Davina continued: "It's been mad. It's just really nice to be back home. I'm on the other side.

"My short term memory is a bit remiss, but that is something that I can work on so I'm really happy about that. I'm writing down everything that I'm doing to keep myself feeling safe."
