Carrie Underwood was one of the many stars to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration, but it seems the country music star wasn't happy with how it went.

Sound issues disrupt Carrie Underwood before inauguration performance
Carrie Underwood's performance at Donald Trump's inauguration reportedly didn't go as smoothly as planned, leaving the star less than pleased.
The American Idol winner delivered a stunning rendition of America The Beautiful, but was forced to sing a cappella due to a technical glitch that rendered the backing track inoperable.
Despite fans commending her for maintaining her composure and delivering an impressive performance, it's reported that the situation backstage was quite different.
An insider claimed that Carrie was extremely unhappy with the setup for her performance and allegedly threw a "hissy fit" after exiting the stage.
It's suggested that Carrie was "dissatisfied" with her performance, attributing the issue to the limited space she was provided. A source told Mail Online that the star felt cramped and uncomfortable.

"Her anxiety was high throughout the performance," the insider revealed.
"And she felt that she was not afforded the same level of respect or admiration that previous performers, such as Beyonce and Lady Gaga, had received. She felt as if she was ushered in and out and had a mini hissy fit afterwards."
They further added that the star, accustomed to performing in large venues, felt as though she was "just in a room" without a stage, which negatively impacted the acoustics for her performance, reports the Mirror.
Despite the star's seeming unease, her performance received acclaim on social media. As an X user exclaimed: "YOU ARE A STAR. Grace under pressure. You handled that like a boss."

Another praised her appearance, writing: "Carrie Underwood was the star [of] the inauguration!" and a third chimed in: "[Carrie] is a super star."
Previously tight-lipped about her political stance, Carrie admitted she prefers to "try to stay far out of politics if possible".
Yet, following her show of support for Trump before her performance, fans have lashed out, with some even declaring her career "over" due to her political leanings.
Opening up about her decision to perform at the new president's inauguration, Carrie told PEOPLE: "I love our country and am honoured to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event. I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future."
