Celine Dion is embracing the holiday spirit with style by sharing a throwback photo with fans.
The iconic singer, 56, shared a festive photo on Instagram on Tuesday, December 17, showcasing a glamorous – and fiery – look. Crouching in front of a beautifully lit Christmas tree, Dion dazzled in a shimmering red dress paired with a pair of jaw-dropping phoenix-shaped heels.
The custom heels, which featured flame-like details, immediately caught the attention of fans. Many took to the comments to express their admiration for the 3D footwear.
"Best shoes, as usual," one fan noted in the comments. Another said, "Merry Christmas Celine! 🎄I absolutely LOVE those shoes!👠🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥." A third chimed in, "Celine's heels are on fire 😳 🔥🔥🔥."
Another commented, "Just happy to see her looking healthy," referring to the "Power of Love" singer's battle with Stiff Persons Syndrome – a rare and debilitating disease which she has opened up about over the years.
However, not all reactions were positive, with one fan jokingly likening the boots to a "frizzy-haired muppet meme," while another called out the image for being "old." It was later revealed that the photo was not new, as Dion had previously shared it in 2019.
Dion's flaming photo was also accompanied by a "this or that" holiday game – one blank for fans to use, and one filled out by the singer. The notable part about Dion's version however, was that she hilariously chose both for every option, hinting at the fact that she loves everything to do with the holidays.
Most recently, the six-time Grammy winner graced the stage at the 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab fashion show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday, November 13. This marked her third performance since revealing her diagnosis of Stiff-Person Syndrome in December 2022. At the event, she gave a rousing performance of "The Power of Love" and also performed Gloria Gaynor's iconic hit "I Will Survive."
Prior to her fashion event appearance, Dion had performed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and delivered a surprise set at the City of Hope's 2024 Spirit of Life Gala in Los Angeles last month.
