It's not often that one gets dressed up in a costume to look like a good friend, but Brittany and Patrick Mahomes recently did just that.
Brittany, 29, posted a series of photos of herself accompanied by her husband, Patrick, also 29, on Instagram, but this time they were dressed up in costumes resembling their good friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. In the snaps posted on Wednesday, December 18, the two appeared to be at an Eras Tour-themed party.
The wife of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback chose a sparkly fringed mini dress with a matching jacket reminiscent of Swift's "Karma" jacket. She also styled her blonde hair in curls similar to how the pop star wore hers around 2008. Meanwhile, Patrick wore a tuxedo to emulate an outfit Kelce wore during one of his girlfriend's performances in London during the Eras Tour.
Fans of the couple took to the comments section of the Instagram post to express their reactions to the expecting parents' costumes.
"You just made the life of every Swiftie sweeter / thanks," wrote one fan, while a second joked, "@patrickmahomes looks like he made an appearance on the Eras Tour stage ." A third complimented the NFL player and his wife, writing, "Patrick looks so handsome! You guys are so perfect together! ."
The post on Instagram also features a few pictures of Swift and Brittany together at the event with a couple of other friends at the event where everyone appeared to be wearing their own Taylor Swift Era-inspired outfits.
Brittany and Patrick are high school sweethearts who met in their teenage years and have been married since March 12, 2022. The couple shares two children: Sterling Skye, 3, and Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, 2. They announced they were expecting a third child in July 2024 via a joint Instagram Reel.
