Hollywood superstars Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have called off their engagement.

The Magic Mike star and Batman actress decided to end their relationship after three years together according to multiple sources, who alerted US magazine PEOPLE.

The two became an item in 2021 while working together on Kravitz’s directorial debut 'Blink Twice' , in which Tatum starred. They made their relationship public at the Met Gala the same year, before announcing their engagement in Autumn 2023.

To fans' delight, the pair's relationship continued to flourish and they appeared besotted at the 'Blink Twice' premiere in August. Channing told reporters: "To get to create something with someone that you love is probably one of the most gratifying things", while Zoë added: "We got to work together and go through hard things together and support each other, and it was beautiful."

Even Zoë's superstar father, 60-year-old singer Lenny Kravitz, championed the match. In January 2024 he told People magazine that the couple "have something that’s naturally special", stressing "they are dedicated. That’s what it’s all about. It’s beautiful to watch."

The shock news of the split comes just eight weeks after Channing shared a sweet image of Zoë asleep on his lap with his 17.5 million followers and promised her "I got you forever".

The power couple were spotted together as recently as the 6th of October, when they attended a play featuring their 'Blink Twice' co-star Levon Hawke in New York.

Although the reason for their separation is currently unclear, eagle-eyed fans had noticed that Zoë was not wearing her engagement ring in recent weeks, including on a recent outing with Big Little Lies co-star Shailene Woodley.

Channing Tatum has also been romantically linked to other high-profile performers including Jessie J and Jenna Dewan

This is not the first time that hopes of a married life have collapsed for either star. In 2018 Channing divorced his Step-Up co-star Jenna Dewan, with who he shares a daughter called Everly. He then dated pop sensation Jessie J on and off from 2018 to 2020. Meanwhile, Zoë had previously filed for divorce from actor Karl Glusman in December 2020.
