Chantelle Houghton posts rare photo of lookalike daughter, 12, she shares with ex Alex Reid

Former Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton prefers to keep her daughter out of the spotlight now she's older but couldn't resist showing the world that she is growing up

Proud Chantelle Houghton lets fans in on her family life after she posted a photo of her 12-year-old lookalike Dolly on social media.

It's not often the former Big Brother star gives her followers a glimpse of the youngster, but the emotional mum couldn't resist as they took in a special event at toy shop Hamleys in London on Sunday. Draping an arm around her, they spent the day together - and got some early Christmas inspiration in the process.

Chantelle shares Dolly with her ex-fiancé Alex Reid, who years ago confessed to not knowing when his daughter and her mum lives. Chantelle rarely shows Dolly's face publicly as she protects her privacy and it is not know if the soon-to-be-teenager and Alex have a relationship.

The devoted single mum, who split from her fiancé Michael Strut in 2021, focuses on her energy on raising her child. She shared that she's been celibate for the last two years back in March. In 2011, Chantelle had a whirlwind romance with Alex who was previously married to Katie Price.

They welcomed Dolly the following year, but Alex and Chantelle split shortly after. The relationship seemed doomed form the offset. The CBB winner explained to The Sun that when she was eight months pregnant, Alex had turned their home into a 'sex dungeon' for four days.

Alex spoke out and wrote: "Following recent articles in the media, I wish clarify and correct certain information and allegations that have been made, regarding my relationship and my family’s relationship with my daughter Dolly and my ex-partner, Chantelle Houghton...

"However, the facts are that I have asked on numerous occasions if my parents can come with me to see Dolly. The last time I asked was a few weeks ago. I was told that I would have to ask Chantelle’s Mother, Vivienne, as I only visit Dolly at Vivienne’s house – I do not even know where my daughter lives. My parents are desperate to see their granddaughter, despite the four hours travel time to get there and back, but do not want to impose on Vivienne’s hospitality. I already feel like I am intruding by visiting twice a week on my own to see my beautiful little girl."

Chantelle claimed in the interview that sparked a response from Alex: "He had my false eyelashes on and there were sex toys all over the room, with porn playing on the TV." Although she left to go to stay at her old flat, Chantelle explained that she kept returning to plead with him for the sake of their unborn child.

"I begged him to stop but he kept saying how horny he felt and asked me to perform a sex act on him." Although they reconciled, they split for good in 2012. And then in 2020, the Big Brother star became engaged to property developer Michael after just a few months of dating, but called it quits a year later.
