Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have welcomed a baby boy.
The Hollywood actor and wife Katherine shared their happy news with their followers. Katherine wrote: "We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris."
The pair were flooded with comments from fans, yet some also pointed out what their baby's initials will be. One fan said: "Congrats! Haha his initials are FFS Pratt which i feel like was said all the time on the set of “Parks & Rec” after every one of Chris’ improv lines…”Oh FFS, Pratt!”."
Another replied: "Ya beat me to it! First thing I thought of FFS Pratt, excellent." Someone else commented: "Exactly what I thought of, too." The couple are already proud parents to daughter Lyla, four, and Eloise, two. Chris also has a 12-year-old son named Jack who he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.
Marvel star Chris previously opened up on being a protective father. He spoke to Men's Journal, about starring in show The Terminal List that was inspired by Jack Carr's novel wherein the main character's family is murdered. Chris said: "Whenever you're put in a position, or even imagine a position, where those kids are in danger, your mind goes to wild places. I mean if I was put through the situations that James was in, I would probably do the same f****** thing," he candidly admitted. "I think that's why those storylines resonate so strongly with fathers."
Katherine is the daughter of Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who previously shared his sweet nickname for granddaughters Lyla and Eloise. Speaking about how fun it is to be a grandfather, Arnie gushed how they call him their "Opa". In a discussion with People, the Terminator star discussed how the title is German for grandfather.
Arnie, of Austrian heritage, said: "It's just such a fun thing to do because it's kind of like I [didn't] know how good I would be [at being a grandfather] but I have the animals so it's an easy thing." He mentioned how Katherine now uses the same parenting methods that she once hated on her child Lyla.
"You could talk to them about what they liked about their upbringing because they have very humorous stories," Arnold started. "The first one is Katherine ... As a matter of fact, Katherine comes over with Lyla and she says, 'Lyla, I told you already not to put the shoes there. Keep your shoes on or you put them away, but you don't leave them there by the stand in front of the fireplace because you know what Daddy did? When I left my shoes there twice? The third time, he burned them in front of me and I cried,'"
