Speaking about their relationship on Dax Shepard's podcast Armchair Expert in 2018, Kunis said it was a "horrible" split.
"[It was] a horrible, horrible breakup," Kunis admitted. "I f—— up."
"I was an a—— in my 20s and I'll be the first to admit it. And that's something that took me a long time to come out and be like, 'Yeah, you know what, I was a d—,' and accept it and I own it now."

Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker dated a few A-listers before eventually marrying Matthew Broderick.
One of them was Robert Downey Jr – who she dated for almost seven years in the 1980s.
Downey Jr later admitted in 2008 his drug and alcohol abuse was the reason behind their failed romance.
"I liked to drink, and I had a drug problem, and that didn't jibe with Sarah Jessica, because it is the furthest thing from what she is. She tried to help me. She was so miffed when I didn't get my act together," he told Parade.

"I was a full-blown love addict, so it was like, 'I can't keep doing this, my body can't take it.' For someone who is a love addict, [breakups are] debilitating."

"I had two of the greatest girlfriends of all time," Gosling said in 2011, speaking about Bullock and Rachel McAdams.

Kudrow told Vanity Fair recently that she told O'Brien that he was "no one" ahead of launching his Late Night with Conan O'Brien show that same year.
Despite it sounding bad, Kudrow had the best intentions for her former flame.
"I don't know how much we talked about it. I just knew, 'You're trying to replace David Letterman. No one replaces David Letterman. You're no one'," Kudrow told the publication.
"It can't be anybody that an audience would know."
About his rise to fame, O'Brien said: "I had to develop from a fetal pig to a full-size pig in front of America."

"It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but, out of respect for the time we've spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media," they said in a joint statement.
