Coleen Rooney presented pal, Annie Kilner, with a gift today as they worked up a sweat at the gym.

The wife of Wayne Rooney, 38, is keeping fit ahead of her stint in the Australian jungle when she joins I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! later this month.

Annie, 31, who likes, Coleen, lives in swanky Cheshire, looked delighted by her friend's thoughtfulness as she checked her phone while clutching a huge bag from gym brand, Sweaty Betty, as she made her way to her car.

The mum-of-four, who is navigating her divorce from Man City star, Kyle Walker, cut a casual figure in black leggings and a zip-up jacket, with her hair swept up into a ponytail. Coleen, meanwhile, was also sporting lycra leggings and wrapped up against the cold in a cropped puffer Prada jacket, which can be snapped up for a mere £1,700.

It was reported that the WAGs joined forces over the summer when Coleen is thought to have formed an alliance with Annie after her estranged husband Kyle Walker's ex Lauryn Goodman got close to Rebekah Vardy. Coleen and Rebekah faced off in court throughout their infamous 2022 libel Wagatha Christie case and are still not done after the wife of Leicester City's, Jamie Vardy, recently appealed the decision to pay back Coleen's 'ludicrous' legal costs.

Annie has endured months of heartache after Lauren revealed Kyle had fathered her child again in a bitter betrayal to the footballer's childhood sweetheart. "Coleen has said she will do whatever it takes to help Annie and is happy to build a case against Lauryn," an insider told Heat magazine, adding: "She's seen Rebekah Vardy sticking up for Lauryn, and both Coleen and Annie would love to wipe the smiles off their faces."

After being in the limelight since the high-profile showdown with Rebekah, Coleen would be forgiven for wanting a quiet life rather than appearing on TV every night in a gruelling reality series.

However, sources close to the Scouser put her real motive to join I'm A Celeb down to a riveting ruthless streak. They say Coleen couldn't pass up the opportunity to wind up her biggest rival, Rebekah, in front of an audience of millions.

Rebekah appeared on I'm A Celeb herself back in 2017 and became the third contestant to be eliminated and was caught up in a bullying row with presenter Iain Lee. The DJ hit out at the former Jehovah's Witness for making him “f***ing miserable and isolated” in the jungle, with Rebekah being one of the first to be voted out.

Speaking about Wagatha part two, a source told the Mail: "I'm A Celebrity is a fantastic opportunity to wind Becky up. She has got a mischievous side to her. While she has been dignified with how she dealt with being dragged through a court by Becky, it is bound to come up and Coleen has always been honest about the situation."
