We’re fully in the grips of the autumn weather, and that means having to make sure you’re wrapped up against the unexpected downpours and blustery gales every day. That’s why we’re absolutely loving Columbia’s recent collaboration with Disney, which includes cosy fleeces and waterproof jackets in adorable Mickey Mouse prints.
The collection launched back in September, but there’s still plenty of time to get your hands on it as two of the most iconic items are still in stock. It’s not just the kids that get to benefit from the Disney X Columbia range either – both pieces come in adult sizes too, so you can get the whole family matching for your next autumnal walk.

Created to celebrate Disney’s 100 year anniversary, the collab contains everything you need for a great adventure, combining imagination and wonder with practical layers and designs. Although several pieces from the Disney X Columbia collection have now sold out, two of our absolute favourites are still very much in stock, and make perfect Christmas presents as well as being ideal for wintery family days out.
The standout piece for us is the CSC x Disney Mickey Mouse Ibex Waterproof Shell Jacket, £155, which has a fully waterproof coating and stowable Mickey ears on the hood. As well as being able to tuck the ears in and out depending on what look you want, the jacket is fully seamed so any rain won’t be able to seep through and it’ll keep you completely dry even during a downpour. Although the adult version is now sold out, you can still pick it up in both youth and toddler sizes ranging from three to 18 years.

Columbia)A fleece is also an absolute essential for staying cosy and warm on chilly winter excursions, and the pullover CSC x Disney Mickey and Friends Half Snap Fleece does exactly that. It’s made from a super soft and warm material, and features iconic artwork from cartoonist and Disney legend Floyd Gottfredson of Mickey and his friends on their very own outdoor adventure.
The adult version, £90, features zippered chest pockets, bindings on the cuffs and an adjustable toggle at the bottom which allows you to keep heat in as well as giving it a cropped effect if you want. The £65 kids version, meanwhile, has a similar snap-closure neck and zipper pocket, but with binding details around the cuffs and hem to help keep them cosy without worrying about toggles.
Columbia isn’t the only place that sells the collection, with the Disney store also stocking selected items from the collaboration, including fleeces and trucker caps. Elsewhere, Marks and Spencer has also got into the Disney spirit for winter, with its Stormwear Disney Frozen Padded Coat, £32, available for all ages from 2-3 years up to 7-8.
