Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and families across the country are racing to get their last-minute ingredients for the big feast.
Many Americans shop days or weeks before the big Thanksgiving meal, but there's a chance you'll need to run to the store for a last-minute ingredient.
However, not all stores will be open during the holiday, as some like to give their employees the day to spend with their family.
Luckily, though, many large retailers will remain open for Thanksgiving, and they've released their hours so you can be sure where to go if any last-minute gravy or stuffing mishap occurs.
Kroger
Kroger is known to many for its good food deals, and there's sure to be high demand at the store on Thanksgiving Day. The store will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sprouts Farmers Market
Vegetables often make or break the side dish options on Thanksgiving. Luckily, Sprouts will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for those who need to pick up something last minute.
Whole Foods
Whole Foods will continue to be open for the holiday, but with modified hours.
Customers should call their local store to make sure the retailer is still open for any day-of Thanksgiving needs.
Harris Teeter
Harris Teeter operates hundreds of stores across the Southeast and will continue to be open for business on Thanksgiving.
You should check with your local store for specific hours, but nationally, the supermarket should be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
H-E-B
The Texas-based supermarket chain will continue to be open on Thanksgiving, but customers should expect modified hours.
On Thursday, stores will be open from 6 a.m. to noon before closing up for the holiday. Curbside pickup is also available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., but all pharmacies will be closed.
On Wednesday, H-E-B is operating under regular hours. For Black Friday, the chain will resume regular hours as well, but curbside and home delivery will be delayed until 9 a.m.
Wegmans
Wegmans is another regional store that offers special prepared dishes and raw ingredients alike.
Those who decide to pick up a last-minute charcuterie board or Wegmans baked pie are in luck because the retailer will remain open on Thanksgiving but with modified hours.
You should ask the specific store what hours they will be open during the holiday, though, as this varies by location.
Grocery Stores Closed on Thanksgiving
Just because many stores nationally stay open for any Thanksgiving emergencies doesn't mean all of them will continue to welcome customers.
For the fifth year in a row, Target will be closed on Thanksgiving, so don't expect to make any last-minute Target runs this year.
Walmart and Sam's Club are following suit and closing their doors for the holiday.
While Walmart will open up again at 5 a.m. on Black Friday, Sam's Club is letting customers get ahead of the game, opening up online Black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving before resuming normal hours Friday.
Costco is also closing all stores for Thanksgiving, alongside Aldi, Trader Joe's and Walgreens.
In addition to the store closures, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) will stop delivering mail due to the federal holiday. Government offices will also be closed throughout Thursday.
