Two of country music’s biggest names are putting their money where their mouth is, partnering with fast food chains!
Thomas Rhett Inks Deal to Partner With Hardees
Hit artist Thomas Rhett has joined forces with burger chain Hardees for a yearlong campaign to celebrate goodness in communities. In a press release, Hardees says the campaign will come to life through storytelling and activities focused on values like giving back, family, first responders and college football.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Thomas Rhett, as we work together to celebrate goodness in all the places we call home,” said Hardee’s VP of Brand Sarah Breymaier. “From our handcrafted menu to our commitment to serving communities in need, this partnership is all about giving back and spreading kindness—whether through serving up delicious meals or supporting important causes like veterans’ organizations and local communities.”
And this isn’t Rhett’s first collaboration with the burger chain. The singer teamed up with Hardees late last year for a University of Georgia-themed tailgate for hurricane relief.
The event benefitted Atlanta-based nonprofit Caring For Others.
Lainey Wilson Teams Up with Whataburger
And Rhett isn’t the only country star on the burger bandwagon. Whataburger has named Lainey Wilson its official brand ambassador to help celebrate the chain’s 75th anniversary.
To kick off the campaign, Whataburger locations will be handing out free Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits Tuesday, January 28 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wilson touts the biscuits as her favorite, whether they’re free or not. “I’ve been rolling through Whataburger drive-thrus since I was just a small-town girl in Louisiana with big dreams,” says Wilson. “From grabbing Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits with my daddy between horse sales and rodeos to late-night stops on the road playing honky-tonks — Whataburger’s been part of my story every step of the way.”
And that love is mutual. In a press release announcing Wilson as brand ambassador, president and CEO of Whataburger Debbie Stroud said, “Lainey Wilson embodies all that we love about our brand. She is genuine, daring and dedicated to delivering unforgettable experiences to fans. Our partnership with Lainey Wilson unites two brands committed to serving up Goodness 24/7 with a side of Texas hospitality, and we can’t wait to share what we’ve got cooking throughout the year. Hang tight, there’s more to come!”
