Danny Jones almost missed his chance to appear on I'm A Celebrity after a mix-up.
McFly star Danny, 38, is now gearing up for his three-week stint in the jungle, following in the footsteps of his good pal and fellow band member Dougie Poynter. Dougie emerged victorious in 2011, beating out the likes of TOWIE legend Mark Wright and Olympic javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread.
However, while Dougie came out of the jungle as the winner, Danny is already predicted to be the King of the Jungle by the end of this series, which kicks off on Sunday (November 17). Signing up to I'm A Celebrity at the last minute, it appears that he almost missed out on his own jungle stint do a silly mistake.

Recalling his journey to Australia, he joked: "Leaving the house was one of the most stressful mornings of my life. Because one: I'm leaving; I didn't know I was doing the show, right? Until, like, pretty last minute.
"And here's the double reason why it was stressful: I couldn't find my passport in the morning, he explained. "I was literally going, 'Darling, I've got to go to the airport now and I can't find my passport!'."
After a frantic search, he was able to find his passport in his bag and rush out the door to get to the airport in time. However, it meant that the couple were not able to say a proper goodbye to each other he embarked on his huge adventure - something Danny particularly did not mind.
"In a way, I look at that as a bit of a positive, because it wasn't so long-winded and she wasn't thinking 'I don't know when I'm going to see him again'. It was like, 'I've got to go check the car at the studio, check this place, you know; I've got to find my passport'."
Danny went on to say that his stint down under will be the longest amount of time that he has spent away from his family and his son Cooper, aged six. He confessed that when he broke the news to his son, The Voice coach was fighting back tears, but urged Cooper to stay strong and watch the show with his mum.
"I've never been away for this long," he confessed. "We normally have a two-week thing on it where if it's any more than two weeks, you've got to come and say hi; I mean, FaceTime does obviously help, but that's taken, my whole communication has been taken away."
Looking ahead to his time in the jungle, Danny said that he would not be afraid to show his true emotions, including if that means he is sobbing his eyes out. He also revealed he may struggle to adapt to camp life, and having to share a living area with nine strangers.
"It's a scary place to be," he remarked. "Not only are you limited to what you eat, I'm in there with a load of strangers - I'm vulnerable."
I'm A Celebrity kicks off on Sunday, November 17 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
