Dave Grohl Spotted Without Wedding Ring for 3rd Time in Los Angeles Amid Jordyn Blum Marriage Trouble

The Nirvana alum was spotted visiting a friend’s house on October 7. He seemingly tried to hide his bare ring finger with a hat as he approached his vehicle. Meanwhile, Jordyn was also seen without her ring that day as she went shopping at Gelson’s Market in Los Angeles.

Scandal

Dave and Jordyn’s trouble seemingly began when the guitarist revealed via Instagram on September 10 that he had welcomed a fourth baby girl with another woman.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote in a statement on Instagram. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

He and Jordyn are parents to daughters Violet, Harper and Ophelia.

A source exclusively told In Touch that Dave came forward with the news because he felt pressured to beat someone else to the punch. “He feared the mother or someone else would spill the news,” the insider said. “It’s his way to own up that he’s made mistakes.”

Heading for Divorce?

Dave reportedly retained a divorce attorney prior to announcing his baby news, a source told People on September 11.

“Dave knew his infidelity could end in divorce,” an insider exclusively told In Touch. “And if that happens, Jordyn will be one very rich woman.”

“Dave’s nervous,” the source continued. “He wants to get ahead of the game because if Jordyn decides not to forgive him, she could easily end up walking away with half of everything.”

Staying Hopeful

A source exclusively told In Touch on October 11 that Dave was doing what he could to save his marriage.

“He’s gone from being rock god to scumbag overnight, it’s changed the dynamic and he hates it. But he’s got to go along if he wants to save his marriage. Jordyn and the kids are his life,” the insider said. “He admits he was wrong, but he’s under total scrutiny, he has no freedom. He’s offering up phone text messages and constantly apologizing and going to therapy. He’s trying to be a good dad but at the same time it’s frustrating and he doesn’t understand that these things can take months, even years to fix.”
