Denzel Washington Links With Snoop Dogg: 'I Enjoy How You Enjoy Life'

Denzel Washington recently let Snoop Dogg know how big of a fan he is because of how he’s living.

The legendary actor and legendary rapper met up at the premiere for Gladiator 2 and cameras captured their warm embrace of each other. Washington, clearly happy to see Snoop, let him know, “I enjoy the way you enjoy life.”

The duo then shook hands and took pictures with their wives who were both in attendance.

While on the red carpet at the premiere, the duo also answered a couple of questions about the movie that Washington stars in. When asked by a reporter if he thought about the Roman Empire while filming the movie that’s about the Roman Empire, Denzel responded jokingly in shock. “I was too busy acting,” he explained. “When’s the last time you thought about the Roman Empire?”

Snoop, on the other hand, expressed his love for Ridley Scott who directed the film. “I love Ridley Scott,’ said Snoop. “He knows that I’m here so he can put me in one of his movies.” He then publicly asked for Scott to put him and his wife in a film before letting the world know that Gladiator is his favorite movie from the director.

Washington’s adoration for how Snoop “enjoys life” probably stems from how much fun the rapper has been having lately. Last month, he hopped on a random party bus with strangers for an unforgettable night.

In a video shared on X, Snoop surprised the shocked partygoers who put on his classic tune “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang.” After that, he posed for some pictures and hopped back off to get back to whatever he had to do.

Just a week before that, Snoop spoke about how he’s become “America’s Dad” that everyone seems to love. "That made me feel good," Snoop said. "Because you gotta understand the journey and the path that I've been on to get to the part of respect and appreciation and love for what I do. That's growth.

"I've been an open book, I've been able to share my life to the whole world from day one, I never tried to hide anything,” he continued. “So when I made mistakes, it was OK. So now that I'm getting it right, it's even more better."
