When Sean “Diddy” Combs talked about his infamous parties, he said that having women attend was one of the most important factors for success. People fought to get on the guest list at Diddy’s parties, and getting through the door reportedly wasn’t very easy. A party planner who worked with Diddy alleged that women had to be under 140 pounds in order to attend.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly wanted the women at his parties to be under a certain weight
Diddy worked with a party planner in the early 2000s. She claimed that part of her job was to make sure that the women entering his events were young and thin. She kept a scale in her car to do weigh-ins if she thought it was necessary.
“We would do a weigh-in, if necessary,” the party planner told the New York Post. “The girls had to be young and hot, so I always had a scale nearby in case I needed to make sure. The number was 140 pounds, but if a girl was really tall, there was a little bit of discretion involved.”
Even if the women were thin enough, they weren’t guaranteed entry. They had to look a certain way.
“No flab, no cellulite. Not overly pierced or tattooed. No short hair,” the party planner said. “And the girls had to be young and hot.”
They also reportedly had to dress according to his standards.
“No pants. No jeans. No flat shoes. Every girl had to wear a party dress, preferably very short, just enough to cover her butt cheeks, but no longer than mid-thigh. Cleavage showing. And every single one of them had to be wearing stilettos. That one, there was no exception: high stilettos.”
They reportedly didn’t ask the ages of attendees
While there were a lot of rules women had to follow at his parties, they allegedly didn’t have to be of legal age.
“It was don’t ask, don’t tell,” the party planner said. “At the time, I was really young myself and I honestly thought that we weren’t asking their age because of drinking laws.”
She added that she had no idea what went on at the parties until recent allegations.
“I never stayed around for the Freak Offs and had no idea that these girls were expected to have sex with people.”
While talking about his parties, Diddy said that having enough women present was the most important thing he could do to prepare.
“This is what you need to do,” Diddy said on Late Night With Conan O’Brien in 2002, per Vibe Magazine. “Women. Beautiful women, of course. Beautiful men for the ladies, of course … You need to give the ladies what they need, too. Take care of your women. You can’t force the situation.”
He shared what he did to make sure women stayed.
“We need alcohols,” he said. “You need some water. I don’t know if guys have noticed this, but a lot of ladies drink water at parties. So if you don’t have what they need, they gon’ leave. Gotta keep ’em there. You need locks on the doors… It’s a little kinky but, you know … rock with me.”
