Diddy's joy is short-lived as heinous new accusations come to light

Sean "Diddy" Combs may have just scored a legal victory amidst "outrageous conduct" by prosecuting attorneys in his federal case, but the hip-hop mogul's path to freedom in his legal labyrinth remains narrow, at best.

Diddy has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking, the result of a federal investigation that saw his Miami and Los Angeles homes raided after a number of credible lawsuits were filed against him. Diddy's attorneys continue to fight for him -- their insistence got a judge to throw out illegally-obtained evidence against the rapper -- but simultaneously, their task to free the 55-year-old has been made a lot more difficult.

Combs accused of drugging, assaulting five people

Five new lawsuits -- three filed by men, two by women -- are accusing Diddy of sexual assault, in line with similar suits that have been brought against Combs over the past year.

One plaintiff has claimed that he lost consciousness after consuming a beverage at one of Diddy's infamous parties in Miami; he awoke and alleged that Diddy was attempting to rape him. A second male said he met up with Combs in New York City under the auspices of starring in a music video; he claimed to have consumed a strange-tasting Diet Coke and awoke with his pants pulled down. The third male plaintiff accused DIddy of drugging and assaulting him in New York City in 2022.

One of the female plaintiffs filing suit against Diddy has claimed that, at 17, Combs raped her at a party in the Hamptons this past summer. The other female plaintiff is suing over an incident that is alleged to have occurred in 2001 -- she claimed Diddy gave her a spiked drink and forced her to perform oral sex on him.

All five plaintiffs are being represented by Tony Buzbee, who is representing more than 50 plaintiffs who have filed suit against Diddy. The Texas-based attorney is also known for representing many of the accusers that claimed NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson sexually assaulted them during his time as the Houston Texans' quarterback.
