Diljit Dosangh:
Sat Sri Akal Ji, I am Diljit Dosanjh. I feel blessed! And concerts that were done in the Punjabi community earlier were never on such a big scale, like never in live stadiums. But my dream was, like all mainstream artists, to do shows on a big level. Big production and all. So my dream for a long time was that maybe my shows, too, Punjabi shows, they could be on this level one day. And history has been made! To all new punjabi artists, they don’t need to dream about it. They now have a blueprint in front of them. You all can do it, so these shows of mine, this is not just for me. It’s for all. They don’t need to dream about whether it can happen or not. Because people used to tell me that it can’t happen. So come on, let’s get cracking. Punjabis have arrived!
Canada seems like Punjab to me. Many Punjabis are there. Not even just Punjabi. People from the whole community, they come to my show, and we welcome everyone with open arms. When I did a show for the first time in my life outside of India, it was in Canada. It was Toronto where I did the show for the first time. So, always in my mind, Canada is like India for me, right? So, yeah! Thats the memory, and Canada is very special for me. 100%.
Keep watching for more!
