Drake and Future Have 'Resolved Their Differences,' According to Elliott Wilson

Young Thug's call to have Drake and Future put aside their beef might have worked.

In a preview of an episode of Elliott Wilson's The Bigger Picture podcast, the journalist revealed that he's heard from trusted sources that the What a Time to Be Alive collaborators are on talking terms again after beefing earlier this year. "Drake and Future, [have] gotten on the phone and resolved their differences," Wilson shared. "[I have it] on good authority, Drake and Future have at least gotten on the phone and resolved their differences."

The two rappers clashed earlier this year following the release of Future and Metro Boomin's We Don't Trust You, which featured the Kendrick Lamar-featuring "Like That." As for what the phone call between the rappers entailed, Wilson said that he didn't have much more to go on.

"I don't know what that means. Obviously, we saw Young Thug, from prison incarcerated, put out the energy of 'hey guys let's get it back going,'" he added. "So I think that helped the energy when Future reposted it. All I can really say is they got on the phone, and whatever seems to be the issue, they seem to come to a place of resolving that. Metro not included. There's no trust there still with Metro, but I do believe Drake and Future are back on the same page. What the reveal will be, I don't know. But probably with music, I would think."

Last month, Young Thug shared a tweet from behind bars to indicate that he wanted to see two of his closest collaborators on speaking terms again. "@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin," he tweeted, which Future later retweeted.

With Thug now released from jail on probation, the three have the opportunity to hop in the studio together and resolve the bad blood between Drake and Future.
