Ruth Langsford has always been candid about her passionate escapades with her ex husband Eamonn Holmes. The celebrity couple, who were married for 14 years, shocked fans when they announced their divorce in May.
While Ruth, a Loose Women panellist, has been concentrating on her career, GB News presenter Eamonn has moved on with his girlfriend, Katie Alexander, 42.
Ruth and Eamonn, both 64, spent a significant amount of time on screen, co-hosting This Morning for over a decade, and were quite open about the ups and downs of their relationship - even sharing details about their private life.
Months before their marriage fell apart, Ruth surprised the Loose Women panel by revealing what Eamonn would do when he was in the mood for some intimacy. While her fellow panellists - Frankie Bridge, Carol McGiffin, and Kéllé Bryan - all agreed that a sex ban wouldn't work in their relationships, Ruth confessed there is one thing Eamonn would do to ensure he gets some spicy time, reports the Mirror.
She said: "You can have all the compliments and the flowers but then, if Eamonn comes home and has used my car and he goes, 'Filled the petrol up and did your water bottle', I'm like, 'Get upstairs right now'."
As the studio audience erupted into laughter, Ruth continued: "I hate doing it. Literally, I'll go round with my petrol light on red, the water bottle empty, smeared [windscreen]."
"I'm like, 'Oh I can't stop and do that', so he'll do it for me and he knows, he knows."
She added with a smirk: "Everyone's got their little trick."
But the couple's private life unravelled shortly after, following months of speculation about their relationship. After several disputes and no public appearances together, rumours swirled that Ruth and Eamonn had gone their separate ways.
Their split was eventually confirmed by a representative who stated: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."

The separation has led to a bitter dispute over the custody of their cherished dog, Maggie. An insider previously informed The Sun: "Maggie is like a daughter to them. They dote on her. But she's getting on and they know she needs stability. It's a case of who can give her that. Eamonn adores her and Maggie's been such a support during his health woes. The thought of giving her up is heartbreaking to him. But if Ruth is able to get out and about and walk her more, then it may well be that she gets Maggie in the split."
Commenting on the split at the time, a source disclosed to MailOnline: "It's a very sorry tale. They are both so loved by the British public, they won over so many people on This Morning which they hosted for more than a decade."
They continued: "They were as close to Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan as you could get."
