Cardi B and Elon Musk are fighting on Twitter, and Elon is calling Cardi a “puppet.” But Cardi’s fighting back.
The Bodak Yellow rapper appeared at a Kamala Harris event on Friday, and had an embarrassing slip up. Cardi’s speech was supposed to be loaded onto teleprompters as she appeared at a rally for Kamala Harry s- but it wasn’t.

— aka (@akafacehots) November 2, 2024So Cardi stood on stage for 90 seconds, while fans handed her a cell-phone with her speech. Cardi then read the speech from her cellphone. The speech was good – but the long delay really muted it’s effectiveness.
Elon Musk then took to Twitter to roast Cardi. He called Cardi a “puppet” who had to be :fed: her speech by Kamala’s team.
Cardi responded, saying, “I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. PS fix my algorithm.”
