The charity gala, which was held at Titanic Hotel in Liverpool, was attended by football legends and stars like Helen Flanagan, loved-up couple Ricky Hatton and Claire Sweeney

Love birds Claire Sweeney and Ricky Hatton, Helen Flanagan, Virgil Van Dijk, and Conor Coady were among the stars who attended a charity fundraiser that raised £150,000 on Saturday night.

The event was in support of Football For Change, an initiative aimed at helping young people living in poverty. Singer Paloma Faith and comedian Matt Lucas teamed up for the special event over the weekend. Matt Lucas served as the host for the evening, cracking football-related jokes that had the room roaring with laughter.

Paloma , alongside Texas and Sharleen Spiteri, delivered a stunning performance. The event, which was launched in 2021 by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jamie Carragher, and Conor Coady in partnership with the Communities Foundation for Lancashire and Merseyside, also received support from Liverpool FC boss Arne Slott. He donated a breakfast with him and the Liverpool first team for the auction. Sir Rod Stewart and Robbie Williams also contributed to the auction lots.

The event was sponsored by SHEIN and Destinology Holidays, and One & Only Resorts donated a £25,000 holiday for the raffle. Trent Alexander-Arnold expressed his pride in being part of the initiative, saying: "The work Football For Change is doing is incredible and I am so proud to be part of it. Everyone involved did a fantastic job."
