Rod Stewart has revealed his quest to ensure that his sons treat women better than he did in his younger years.
The rockstar, who has been married three times, has since moved on from his partying days and is now settled down with his third wife Penny Lancaster.
Addressing his love life regrets last year, he shared: "I suppose I could have treated women a little bit more with respect in my early twenties and early thirties.
"I try and teach my children, my boys, that women must be treated with respect."
He added of putting his wild days behind him: "I've grown up now. I have a wonderful wife, seven lovely kids, I really couldn't be happier.
"It had its moments - when one is young, one enjoys life's rich tapestry.
"I did it, I did it, and I enjoyed it, and I've lived a good life," he added to Sunday Morning.
Although only mentioning seven children, Rod actually has eight kids, four sons and four daughters, with five different women.
These are; Sarah, 60, Kimberly, 45, Sean, 44, Ruby, 37, Renee, 32, Liam, 30, Alastair, 18, and Aiden, 13.
Rod shares his two youngest sons with his third wife Penny, a Loose Women star and former model, who he married in 2007.
The Maggie May hitmaker first tied the knot with Alana Stewart, which lasted for five years, followed by Rachel Hunter who he married in 1990 and divorced 16 years later.
Rod admits he has to be "a different father" to each of his children due to their age gaps, but insists they're all close.
It's likely his brood have since reached out to congratulate him on securing the legend's slot at Glastonbury festival 2025.
The singer will make his return to the iconic stage 23 years after he last headlined the festival, alongside the likes of Coldplay, Stereophonics and The White Stripes.
Announcing the news on his Instagram page on Tuesday, he wrote: "I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing @glastofest 2025!
"After all these years, I’m proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June. I’ll see you there!".
