Erin Lichy opened up about her marriage issues and failed handbag business with her husband, Abraham “Abe” Lichy, on a podcast on Tuesday.

Also addressing Abe’s sexuality, signaling the downfalls of The Real Housewives of New York City and how the cast can improve the show, and revealing if she’s still in touch with the series “friend” Rebecca Minkoff, 44, Erin, 37, confirmed her status with Ubah Hassan, 41, and the cast, and detailed her one problem with Jessel Taank, 45.

“I wasn’t actually mad about [the mushrooms], I was just mad at him, just generally. He was just on my last nerve and we were sitting there and I was like, ‘You motherf*cker. I f*cking hate you,’” Erin recalled of an on-camera spat on the January 28 episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat.

Then, when the host wondered if she and Abe were at odds over more than just their crypto spat, Erin confirmed that was the case.

“It was bigger than that. I wasn’t gonna put him on full blast, but there were financial decisions basically that he made without telling me because he wanted to protect me like I’m some little innocent baby that doesn’t know about anything. But I do get it and I do understand it,” she explained.

Moving on to their failed handbag business, Erin admitted it put a strain on their relationship.

“We had this business together. He was on a great track, working at Kasowitz. But then we had this business that he was working on with me and it took away from him really focusing and he ended up leaving and we were doing it full time, we got into debt — the classic American horrible story where business fails and you lose everything,” she revealed.

When Erin was then asked about Abe’s comment regarding his sexuality, which seemed to suggest he was sexually fluid, the RHONY cast member set the record straight.

“He’s not sexually fluid but he has told the story before, where in college, there was a guy that was like, obsessed with him and he was like, ‘I don’t know. Could I be into this?’ And then ultimately, when the guy was like, ‘Let’s meet up,’ he was like, ‘I can’t do it. I’m not gay,’” she shared. “But I actually am happy that he said that because, I mean, I was like, ‘Why do you have to say everything?’ But I also — I respect it because it’s what happened.”

Amid ongoing backlash over the rebooted show, Erin weighed in on the topic.

“I think the issue is that people are just afraid to fully let out what they think and what they believe and show the dark side of themselves. I feel like so many times … I get a little tipsy … and then we really loosen up and it’s fun and I just wish there was more than that,” she explained. “I feel like we all need to loosen up a little bit more.”

Although Erin brought Rebecca to the show as a “friend” ahead of its 15th season, she confirmed they are no longer in touch.

“She and I don’t even speak anymore. You’ll see at the reunion,” Erin revealed. “[And] she doesn’t live [in New York]. Not fully. Her kids go to school, I think, in Florida. In Tampa.”

As for where she stands with Ubah, Erin admitted, “It’s complicated.”

“I don’t like when she [flips on me] but then she’ll call me and apologize and she is a really good friend in other ways, she truly is. She has been there for me so it’s hard. I’m close with her,” she shared. “I’m very close with [Sai De Silva] and she’s done some things to me, which really bothered me. I’ve always been close with Sai. I was upset with [Ubah] after the reunion. I was. And she called me and she was like, ‘I knew you were upset with me.’”

According to Erin, she believes the success of her friendship with Ubah will come down to boundaries.

“After a while, I start to put up some walls. What can I do? I would rather not. But it’s gonna eventually start happening, naturally,” she reasoned.

Regarding Jessel, who she described as “harmless,” Erin said she has just one problem.

“My issue with her is she’s so affected, in my opinion, by society and by her image and by who shows up to what party and who she rubs shoulders with, as she says, she’s very affected,” Erin explained. “And me being a real person that doesn’t give a sh*t about that stuff, it’s just off-putting to me.”

“[And] what I think bothers the girls on the show is that sometimes she’s inauthentic. Like, you did move to New York for the show. You did do that and we all know it and you don’t say it … who cares? You don’t have to put this facade on,” she added.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 reunion continues with part two on Tuesday, February 4, at 9/8c on Bravo.
