An explosion took place inside the Russian Consulate in Marseille, France, La Marseillaise reported, citing the consul general.
There were no casualties, according to La Marseillaise.
Newsweek has reached out to the consulate and Marseille's fire department for comment.
It comes on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
