Fearne Cotton has hinted her dramatic change in life circumstances has helped her combat anxiety.
The 43-year-old radio host shocked fans earlier this month when she abruptly announced she is divorcing husband of 10 years, Jesse Wood, 48 - who is the son of Rolling Stones icon Ronnie Wood, 77. The divorcing couple are parents of two children - with their son Rex is aged 11 and their daughter Honey is aged eight - while Fearne has previously opened up about taking Jesse's two other children from a previous romance, 21-year-old Arthur and Lola, 18, under her wing.
Fearne stunned fans when she revealed that her marriage to Jesse was over. She wrote on Instagram: "It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time."
She has since been spotted out and about without her wedding ring - and has now opened up on her personal health, stating that her anxiety is more manageable. Crediting recent changes in her life, the presenter added that therapy has helped her keep her mind clear and focused.

Instagram)Fearne told the Express: "My anxiety lasted a long time but I do feel like I’m breaking the back of it now, probably for certain reasons; my kids are that bit older, I feel like I’m slightly coming back to myself in ways, I’ve taken myself out of some situations that I know don’t work for me. I’m lucky that I can do therapy, I’m very grateful that I do that every week. With anxiety it’s such a tricky one to find the right tool because a lot of the time you’re not even worrying about a real thing."
It's not just her mental health that Fearne has been updating fans on - she also issued an update on her physical health after undergoing surgery to remove a cyst. Sharing a photograph of her healing scar tissue, the star wrote: "The human body is incredible. In less than three weeks you can barely notice where I had the tumour removed. I feel almost normal. My ear is still quite numb and my face a little tender but other than that I'm feeling good."
Warning some of her images are graphic, she continued: "Only swipe if you want to see the gradual stages of healing. It's not massively gruesome but it certainly looks worse than photo number 1. I found the whole process fascinating and feel very grateful that the operation went well and that the tumour was benign. My surgeon Professor Oflynn made me feel extremely calm and all the nurses were complete angels. Nurse Jackie was especially amazing whilst I was in hospital telling me to get off my phone and nap etc. I needed a firm telling off at times."
She added: "Feeling grateful that I'm healing well and will always wear this scar with pride. A reminder to slow down and look after myself."
