Giovanni Pernice kisses celeb dance partner during routine
Recently sidelined Strictly Come Dancing standout Giovanni Pernice has fuelled rumours that he's making a comeback. The Italian dancer shared a cryptic post on his official Instagram story which shows an old clip of him.
Following a inquiry into assertions of bullying levied against him, Giovanni left Strictly Come Dancing this year after his co-star Amanda Abbington brought forth bullying allegations, triggering the BBC investigation.
The Sicilian dance professional was exonerated by the BBC on ten out of sixteen complaints, with six assertions substantiated.
On his Instagram story, he reshared a screenshot of himself on Strictly Come Dancing during Halloween Week, with the caption being added by a fan saying: "Forever the King of Halloween."
Apart from his TV pursuits, Giovanni recently revealed that he and close mate, esteemed Strictly judge Anton Du Beke, will be treading the boards for a theater tour dubbed The Last Dance, spanning from January through May.
Giovanni exclaimed on social media: "I'm back baby!".

Moreover, Giovanni is currently on the Italian version of Strictly, recently notching five perfect tens with his dance partner.
It was confirmed this month that Pernice is gearing up for Channel 4's Celebrity Hunted, where stars attempt to evade capture while on the run for 28 days as experts track them down.
Despite being recorded in 2022, Giovanni's episode was put on pause following the bullying allegations made by Abbington.

The Sun has claimed that although Channel 4 bosses mulled over airing Giovanni's footage from Celebrity Hunted, it has been confirmed that the series is set for a January release.
An insider disclosed to the tabloid: "It was absolutely right to shelve Hunted while the BBC took the time to unravel the claims against Giovanni. It was filmed in 2022 and due to screen last year, but will now air in early 2025."
The BBC investigation concluded Giovanni Pernice free from claims of violence and physical abuse. The findings detailed in their final report stated that there was no evidence of intimidating behaviour or threats from him.
