TMZ reported that the actress was found unharmed and there is no suspicion of "foul play" connected to her apparent disappearance. The outlet reported on Wednesday: "Chanel has now been found safe and sound. She doesn't have any injuries and foul play isn't suspected."

Recapping the series of events, the outlet stated: "Authorities reportedly conducted a welfare check at the L.A. apartment Chanel shares with her husband last week where they found all her belongings as well as her dog, but no sign of the actress. Chanel's cousin Danielle-Tori Singh and mother Judy Singh flew in from the East Coast to help search for their beloved family member after they say they didn't receive any communication from her for two weeks."

Chanel appeared in three episodes of Gossip Girl, with the episodes titled How To Succeed In Bassness, They Shoot Humphreys, Don’t They?, and The Departed. Ahead of her discovery, Chanel's family members set up a GoFundMe to raise awareness and funds to help find the then missing star.

Her cousin cousin Danielle-Tori Singh wrote on the support page: “On November 10 my aunt and I were able to get into the apartment and all of her belongings are still there. The only items we did not locate are her phone and laptop. She also does not go anywhere without her little dog, which also has been left behind. She also does not have her vehicle because it’s parked in her garage. She would NEVER go anywhere without telling her mom or myself.”

And later, speaking to KTLA, the actress's cousin said to cameras: “We love you so much. We just want to know you’re okay and that you’re safe and that nobody did anything to you.”
